"XI" is a single vineyard blend of Cabernet Sauvignon rosé and whole cluster fermented mourvedre. It comes from oit greatest ally in the Hill Country, Salt Lick Vineyards. As with all of our wines it is hand harvested, spontaneously fermented and bottled without the addition of enological products.
This light juicy red is the perfect companion for a hot hill country spring day and brings flavors of red plum, blueberry and Meyer lemon. It's a perfect little celebration in a glass. A casual reminder that we've outlasted: tariffs, surging rents, pandemics, regime changes, skinny vintages, insurrections, supply chain shortages and many more. It's a fun and fresh reminder that the juice is worth the squeeze.
