Lenoir — A Celebration of Tradition and Collaboration

Our new Lenoir Multi-Vintage is the result of both heritage and partnership. Crafted from 100% Lenoir grapes, this wine reflects our ongoing collaboration with our friends at Lenoir ATX and honors the legacy of this resilient varietal in the Texas Hill Country.

Also known as Black Spanish, Lenoir has deep roots in the southern United States, where it thrived in warm climates and earned a reputation for bold color, deep fruit character, and remarkable resilience. Generations of winemakers have prized it for its ability to produce expressive, age-worthy wines.

For this release, we used whole cluster fermentation to preserve the grape’s natural structure, spice, and tannins—adding both complexity and depth. The grapes were hand-picked and carefully sorted from Banff Vineyards, perched along the slopes of Lake Travis. This meticulous approach ensures only the best fruit makes it into the final blend.

The multi-vintage style allowed us to bring together the best qualities from multiple harvests, creating a wine that’s layered and harmonious. At 12.2% ABV, it’s vibrant and approachable, with concentrated dark fruit balanced by refreshing acidity.

Proudly produced and bottled at The Austin Winery, this Lenoir is more than a wine—it’s a testament to collaboration, craft, and the character of the Texas Hill Country.
