Pinot Noir, Sonoma County 2013

Our Sonoma County Pinot Noir is a blend of grapes from the major sub-regions, creating a complex, nuanced host of notes and flavors. This wine harmoniously features the cool-climate traits the Russian River, the maritime influence of the Sonoma Coast, and the earthiness from the fertile soil of vineyards slightly further inland.

The Sonoma County Pinot Noir is the color of dark cherries, with strong aromas of blackberries, toasted fig and stewed fruits. The body is slightly fuller than the RRV and even still the SLH, but still maintains the light weight that draws people to Pinot. French oak helps maintain a smooth, yet structured profile of fruit, spice, leather, and vanilla.
