Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast

The vineyards that produce this Pinot Noir are in the mountainous Pacific coastline, and predominantly above the fog line, exposing the vines to more rainfall and paradoxically, more sunlight. This unique situation produces a nose of dark, ripe cherries and strawberries. This light, perceived sweetness of fruit extracts notes of cherry cola, watermelon, and confectionery spice. The light spice balances the wine and gives way to a lengthy and silky finish.

The California Sea Otter adorning the label represents the playful nature of this wine and emphasizes the maritime influence. This Pinot is extremely fish-friendly, while also having the depth to pair with light, red meat dishes. Share this special bottle with someone you love - Otters are communal creatures.
