Piquette is a NATURAL wine with NATURAL sparkles made with pressed grape skins, our main byproduct. After the grapes are pressed and all the juice is removed for traditional winemaking, we add water and a small amount of Malbec juice to reinvigorate the yeast and bottle it in a crown-cap. The unfiltered wine will ferment in bottle, resulting in a 4% ABV, dry, sparkling wine that is more reminiscent of a hard kombucha than anything else! It has a brilliant, almost glowing color, with tart berry notes, medium bubbles and a mildly tannic finish.
